New York City at night - Hedge Fund ManagersEmerging Threats and Trends Facing Fund Managers

What’s on the Horizon for Alternative Assets? This hedge fund and private equity forum will take a closer look at the emerging trends facing this industry in the near future. Leaders from the alternative asset space will discuss challenges and trends they are beginning to see, along with best practices within the alternative asset space.

New York, NY, September 16, 2015 – The New York financial public relations firm, Macias PR, is organizing a hedge fund and private equity forum that will bring together some of the industry’s leading experts to discuss emerging trends in the alternative asset space.

Industry leaders with expertise in cyber security, compliance, marketing and executive compensation will discuss thought-provoking trends that are already reshaping the industry.
“Most fund managers don’t realize there is a black market for critical hedge fund data and it is being traded and sold underground,” said Mark Macias – CEO of Macias PR. “One of our panelists – a cyber security expert who has consulted the Department of Defense, Pentagon and wealth management firms – will talk about this black market and what he is seeing in this underground world.”

Panelists will also discuss potential technology disruptions and legislation that will change the game for fund managers, from marketing to reporting. And for funds that need to retain or recruit top talent, an executive recruiter with more than 25 years of experience working with the biggest names in alternative assets will discuss best practices for attracting and retaining top tier pros.
